These are the results of the Knights Invitational. Please note that I left the Bull Run Invitational off a list of meets. We are going on 9/29 to that meet. Coach Eden

Coaches,

I have attached a copy of the results from last nights meet.

After looking over things closely, I have caught a few mistakes, but there are other that exist. In the boys race, the timer missed about 7 times for the boys (at one point there was a group of 10-15 that entered the chute all at once so I think this is where most of the missing times originate). I still have hopes of correcting some (if not all of the errors). If your time and the race time are significantly different (more than 1-2 sec), could you send me the folllowing info, I should be able to put things right. I need the name, place, and time of your last runner with a correct time AND the name, place, and CORRECTED time of any runners whose times are off. It should be a matter of inserting a few times and everything else will fall into order.

In the girls race, there was a correction to the team scores announced. Howard's #4 runner's tag was not on the spindle (it either fell off or was never put on). However, I consulted the quick score envelopes and confirmed the error. I did not catch the error because when I matched the bib numbers with times, I had the right amount of each so I figured they were correct (if my number of times do not match the number of runners, I go to the quick score to pick up the error).

Attached is a copy of the roster I have recieved from each school. Please look this over for any mistakes, errors, or revisions.

Additionally, here are a few reminders about Friday:
Schedule:
3:30 Coaches Meeting
4:00 - Varsity Boys
4:30 - Varsity Girls
5:10 - Open Boys
5:40 - Open Girls

When you arrive at the meet you can pick up your team packets. In these packets you will find 7 bibs for your varsity boys runners and 7 bibs for the varsity girls runners. These bibs are for the 14 athletes (7 boys/7girls) that will be running in the varsity races. At the coaches meeting, I will give each coach a sheet of labels with the athletes they declared for the varsity races. You need to put the labels belonging to 7 boys and 7 girls that are running in the varsity races on a bib. When doing the results I will be looking for the number on the label (not on the bib).

Coaches, I will accept changes, revisions, substitutions, etc. through tomorrow. If you spot any errors or changes, please let me know and I will make the changes.

Thank you for sending me your entries for the Knights Invite. Ed Harte (Meet Director) asked me to relay a few updates concerning this week's meet. First, the order of running events has changed. The boys will run first then the girls and there will be 30 minutes between the boys and girls races, so the schedule is now as follows:
4:00 - Varsity Boys
4:30 - Varsity Girls
5:10 - Open Boys
5:40 - Open Girls

Here is a list of schools that will be in attendance: N. County, Pikesville, Hammond, Severna Park, Old Mill, River Hill, Watkins Mill, Calvert, Southern-AA, Broadneck, S. River, Huntingdon, St. Marys, Chopticon, Chesapeake-AA, Howard, Leonardstown, J. Carroll, McDonogh, Meade, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Northeast, Arch. Curley, and Arch. Spalding.

Ed also asked me to remind everyone that meet t-shirts will be on sale at the meet and Falls Road Running will have representatives at the meet selling shoes.
