Training this week 9/24/07

     This week we'll do 800 repeats on the track on Monday, recover Tuesday, run cutdown 200's and hills on Wednesday, recover on Thursday and Friday, and race at Hereford on Saturday.   I need to mention that there have been some behavior problems in the library during study hall - it's a privilege to use the library and everyone needs to treat the librarian and each other with respect and to be quiet in the library.  Please note the late finishing times on Tuesday and Thursday and the early finish on Friday. 

Monday 9/24/07  3:15 PM to 5:15 PM  Movement Prep, 1 mile warmup on the field loop, 7 x 800 meters on the track with a 30 second rest (goal times will be provided), 1 mile warmdown, stretch.

Tuesday 9/25/07  3:15 PM to 5:30 PM (note the late finishing time)  Movement prep, core, drills, speed ladder, jump rope, 40 minute run, weights and rollers, stretch.

Wednesday 9/26/07   3:15 PM to 5:15 PM  Movement prep, 1 mile warmup on the field loop, 3 x 200 meter cutdowns, 3 x S curve starting at the bridge and finishing at least 100 yards past the top of S curve, 1 mile warmdown, stretch.

Thursday 9/27/07  3:15 PM to 5:30 PM  ( note the late finishing time)  Movement prep, core, drills, speed ladder, jump rope, 40 minute run, weights and rollers, stretch.

Friday 9/28/07   2:15 PM to 3:30 PM  ( note the early finishing time)  Movement prep, 30 minute run, stretch.

Saturday 9/29/07   Bull Run Invitational at Hereford, details to come in a later email.
