check in with me at my room -- 217B

Tomorrow my department meeting is at 2:10 which gives us a few minutes after school to meet. I would like every before study hall to check in with me at my room -- 217B -- before I send you elsewhere. There is a chance there may be teachers in Ms Hammond and Ms Walsh's rooms -- 218B (next to mine) -- and then you can be there. I cannot guarantee this because they are both in my department and we have all have a meeting.

If not, as I said, I will have you go to the library to work quietly. IF THIS IS THE CASE:

I expect that every single person who is in the library will use the full time and library's resources to work on their studies. No talking or being disruptive. You as students have the privilege to use the library after school, but let me be very clear that it is a privilege. Because we have a very small team, I fee comfortable trusting you to work as you would if you were entirely along. The librarians are there to run the library and keep order, NOT to baby-sit a Cross Country team. I don't mean to come across as heavy-handed, but it is essential you treat the library as a library, not as a place to chat, in order to respect all students (which will include you) and faculty using it as a study tool.

Enjoy your final day off and best wishes!

Erik
